Janet Jackson's boob...Justin's answer to Brittany's kiss with Madonna? Anyways, this non-news item bores me. Where's the moral outrage at Kid Rock's "desecration" of the flag? Where's the moral outrage at P.Diddy *roll* and Nelly grabbing their "cocks" every few seconds? What, there is none? Then STFU.

(modified to add some things I said elsenet)
You're a hypocrite if you have indicated you are offended by all those things, but when they happen you only focus on the most sensational. The moral outrage of media whores, politicians, and company who harp on and on about our culture's moral decay bores me in general. But it especially bores me when it comes in the form of selective moral outrage.

If they focused on Kid Rock, plenty of people would yell free speech. Rappers grabbing their crotch? Most people would just roll their eyes and move on with their lives. But a little boobie might just be enough to reach a critical mass of public indignation. Opportunism at its best. The blending of morality and politics is a beautiful thing. Never mind the male dancers had more cleavage than Little Miss Janet.

On the bright side, it completely eclipsed any outrage that Richard Hatch's pixillated privates might have caused on Survivor: All Stars.

I was particularly insensed by the Kid Rock - "Hey, let me wear the American flag like a Mexican blanket" thing, but personally think Janet's nipple ring deserves the highest praise. You go girl!

I'm more patriotic than moralistic, thanks.

When are people going to learn - you should never complain about a little T&A! Personally, I could do with more attractive women flashing their bits.

Like I said elsewhere - it's a boob, people. Appreciate it for what it is and get on with your life.

They did? Missed that too. I am still so very glad that I had my halftime moment with my elephant. (this will only make sense if you saw the post I just made, which I just realized is full of typos and such, for which I apologize).

Duh. I should have said that my comment was related to your cleavage sentence. I really need more coffee. Breakfast would probably help too (since it is now lunchtime).
