RIP Tim Morris

Someone was hit and killed in a crosswalk a few blocks away from our condo, and because of that story we discovered a grad student that was hit and killed at the end of September was someone we knew (they mentioned it as another recent crosswalk death). We had heard the story repeatedly when it happened, but hadn't heard the name or seen a picture before. It's a bit jarring. He and his partner were some of the first gay people we met online after we moved here. They had been together a little over 5 years at the time of the accident. Aeyn, I hope you're ok.

Thanks, it just hit a little too close to home since we shared a lot of similarities with them.
