1. Have you ever gone muddin'? Not really.
2. Have you ever lived on a dirt/gravel road? My first house was on a gravel road...off another gravel road. I'm not sure that it isn't still gravel.
3. Ever been swimming in a lake or river? Yes, and creek swimming quite a lot.
4. Ever been to a bonfire party? Yeah.
5. Have you ever driven a tractor? Briefly.
6. Have you ever been on a horse? Many times. My family competes in horse shows.
7. Ford or Chevy? Meh, Chevy if I had to choose, probably.
8. Kissed someone in a pick up? Yep.
9. Whats your favorite country song? Pick just one? Hah!
10. Ever done 90 miles per hour down a dirt road? Yes, I don't recommend it.
11. Worked / Lived on a farm? My father's side are 6th generation farmers - cotton, corn, soybeans, etc. Several hundred acres.
12. Been to a rodeo? Not really, just practice for rodeo. But to horse shows yes.
13. Do you own cowboy boots? Yes.
14. Do you have a cowboy hat? Yes.
15. Have you ever said git r done? Only humorously or ironically.
16. Country skyline or a city skyline? Yes.
17. Can you name a rodeo star? Not off the top of my head.
18. Do you think tractors are sexy? No, I prefer people.
19. Ever rode a 4-wheeler? Yes. And a 3 wheeler. Those things are dangerous.
20. Are you from the country? Yes.
21. If so, are you proud of it? I guess.
22. Gone hunting? Yes, I have mixed feelings about it.
23. Gone fishing? Yes, I have less mixed feelings about it.
24. Is your heart in dixie? I dunno, but it will always be my "home."
25. Been on a hay ride? Of course.
26. Have you ever line danced? Yes, I used to know all the hot ones. :P
27. Camped under the stars? Yes.
28. Have you ever been cow tippin? NO.
29. Do you drive a pick up truck? No, but I wouldn't mind having one.
30. Fell asleep in a hay stack? Not that I recall.
31. Own a pair of overalls? Not in quite some time.
32. Drank Moonshine? Moonshine is for hillbillies.
33. Include the word "yonder" in your daily vocabulary? Yes.
34. Ever shoveled manure? Ew.
35. Milked a cow? Can't say that I have.
36. Plucked a chicken? No, but I've been present at a plucking. Ew.
37. Is sweet tea your favorite drink? It's definitely in my top 10.
38. Been to a race? No, they're too loud.
39. Know all the words to at least one David Allen Coe song? I don't know that I know all the words to any song.
40.Have you ever made out in a back of a pick-up? Sadly no.
41.Eat buttermilk cornbread and greens with pepper sauce? Cornbread yes, greens no.
42. Enjoy a well prepared fried gizzard? Gross.
43. Like fried squirrel? Ew.
43. Do you have 5 or more crazy relatives that live out in the sticks? All my relatives are crazy (where do you think I get it from?), and most live in the sticks, so yes.
44. Ever launched fireworks from a moving vehicle? No. At a moving vehicle? Yes.
45. Did you hit the target? I don't recall, but nothing blew up, so...
46. Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts? Krispy Kreme.
47. Stuffing or cornbread dressing at Thanksgiving/Christmas? Cornbread dressing.
48. BBQ on the 4th of July or hotdogs? Yes.
49. Any relatives that go by Junior, Bubba, or Bo? Yes, an uncle Bubba. Also a "Boonie," probably some etymological relative of Bo.
50. Ever been to a fish fry? Of course.

My great grandparents made moonshine. And got married when they were 13. They were hillbillies.

I like Dole as a person, and he was a great senator. In 1996 I took an interest in all the third party goings on and ended up supporting the Libertarian, Harry Browne. I was also living in Mississippi at the time, which I knew would vote solidly for Dole without my help. Had I been in a battleground state, I would have voted for him.
