Another Random January Update
Jan. 22nd, 2007 10:28 amYou all are a bunch of softies. Who knew? I still haven't decided what to do.
We had our first "discussion day" today in class. They were somewhat reluctant to speak but I think it went pretty well overall. I need to read through their actual discussion questions to see if anything was left out.
If you have any other LJ friends from Tucson you probably already know it snowed here last night. Most Southerners will have some idea why this is actually exciting. Apparently it is more exciting here than even most places in the South, since snow that sticks at all is a very rare thing. The last time it stuck in Central Tucson was apparently Easter 1999.
Unfortunately we cannot locate our digital camera at present, but hopefully someone got pictures of our neighborhood as the snow was very pretty on the tile roofs and the curved wall this morning. Not to mention the snow and ice on the trees and cactus and mulched in areas. The mountains are not just snow-capped but totally white.
To do:
* Finish up readings for FT class tonight
* Work on master's paper revision
* Find a preface to discuss in FM class for Thursday
* Try to obtain Eating Out 2 tickets for Friday
* Finish my GPSC travel grant application
