Semester The Beginning
Jan. 11th, 2007 11:00 amMy first class went well yesterday. I used up the whole time, hopefully in a useful way, doing a desensitizing activity on sexual vocabulary. Tomorrow we discuss what social constructionism is, since there aren't any prerequisites to the class. No class Monday because of MLKJr day, yay!
This afternoon I have the mysterious Feminist Methodologies class. I say mysterious because the university bookstore doesn't have a book list for the class and there is no class web page in any of the usual places (Eres, D2L, POLIS). This might be partially related to the recent hacking incident on campus, but probably has more to do with the fact that the professor was apparently not teaching last semester. Hopefully things will be clear this afternoon, and hopefully we won't have much in the way of class time this afternoon.
