Doctoral Candidate

I passed my oral comprehensive exam with flying colors today. It was almost what you would call fun. More accurately, perhaps, everyone was nice and conversational.

I'm now a doctoral candidate. Now it's time to work on some papers and get to thinking about dissertation ideas.
